Experienced UK & European Coach Drivers

 

We cover a wide variety of work visiting many different places on a weekly basis and it’s our fantastic drivers that facilitate this. By providing a professional, safe and comfortable journey each time for over 70 years. 

 

With an ever-growing number of enquiries coming in, and continued growth throughout our business we need to expand our team of coach drivers. If you are interested in working within our great team and meeting some amazing clients and visiting some amazing places, why not come and join our journey - we have been doing it well since 1953!

 

The journey as a full-time coach driver has many offerings:
 

- A full introduction into our ethos ‘doing it well’.

- Continued training throughout your journey.

- Excellent Rates of Pay, paid clock to clock. Allowances for working away from home.

- Advance monthly schedules for tour work.

- Bespoke, full uniform provided.

- 29 days paid holiday per annum (inc Public Holidays).

 

Experienced Local Bus Drivers & Home to School Contract drivers (Full or part time)

 

We cover a wide variety of local bus services and home to school contracts throughout Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

 

Continued business growth requires us to expand our team of drivers. If you are interested in working within our great team and meeting some amazing passengers plus visit many places in the beating heart of Cambridgeshire. 

Then why not come and drive for us, be it as a local service bus driver or as a home to school contract driver, getting passengers to work and other vital places. 

 

Full time Local Bus Driver: 
 

- A full introduction into our ethos ‘doing it well’.

- Continued training throughout your journey.

- Excellent Rates of Pay, paid clock to clock.

- 4 day working weeks with 1 in 4 Saturdays (plus additional overtime).

- Bespoke, full uniform provided.

- Option to join our progressional training program.

- 29 days paid holiday per annum (inc Public Holidays).


Full time Home to School Contract Driver:
 

- A full introduction into our ethos ‘doing it well’.

- Continued training throughout your journey.

- Monday to Friday AM & PM schools with yard duties (term time). Plus, overtime.

- Option to join our progressional training program.

- Paid 52 weeks of the years including 12 weeks school holidays.

 

Part time Home to School Contract Driver:
 

- A full introduction into our ethos ‘doing it well’.

- Continued training throughout your journey.

- Monday to Friday AM or PM (term time) 20 hours approx. Plus, overtime.

- Paid 52 weeks of the years including 12 weeks school holidays.

Driver Training Academy

 

If you’d like to become a professional driver and you have no experience at all, then why not join our driver training academy? 

 

We will train you, put you through your qualifications and more so you can become a fully-fledged Dews driver. 

 

The best thing about this, is that it comes at no cost to you whatsoever, so long as you agree to our terms and conditions. 

 

We are more than happy to commit to you becoming a top-quality driver. 

 

Cleaner/Shunter

 

Aside from driving, we have cleaner and shunter positions available too. You’ll be responsible for making sure our buses and coaches are fresh and ready for being on the roads. 

 

A clean and tidy vehicle makes us look presentable and professional which is essential for maintaining our reputation across the country. 

 

We offer a range of benefits and you’d be a crucial part of the support-team.
