Local Bus Updates
Service changes Monday 27 January 2025
We are making some minor changes to our network of services to help improve punctuality.
Service 301 Monday to Friday
- 09:00 301V is retimed to help improve reliability.
- 11:45 301V renumbered to 301 and will no longer serve Woodhurst & Oldhurst (see below).
- 12:38 301X will operate to Oldhurst & Woodhurst via A141 and will not serve Pidley as it does now.
- 13:15 301V journey will now depart at 13:45 following passenger feedback.
- 17:15 301 and 17:45 301 journeys will now depart 15 minutes later to improve connections for customers.
- All other journeys including Saturdays remained unchanged.
Service 302
- All journeys have minor timing changes, all journeys will depart 2 minutes earlier from March Broad St.
- 15:55 302 to March and 17:10 302 to St Ives will be retimed by 1 hour later following passenger feedback that there wasn’t a 17:00 service from St Ives to March.
- 18:15 302 to Chatteris is withdrawn, passengers should use the 16:55 or 19:15 services from St Ives instead.
- 19:15 302 (Saturdays only) this service will now terminate at Chatteris rather than March.
Services 303/305
- All journeys have minor timing changes, most journeys from Huntingdon will leave 5 minutes earlier to improve punctuality.
- 18:10 303 journey is retimed to leave at 18:30 following customer feedback and improve connections for customers using other services.
The Ely Zipper
- All journeys Monday to Saturday will now serve Lisle Lane for Sainsburys in Ely instead of the Market Place, passengers for Waitrose can alight on Prickwillow Road before the bus continues to Market Street.
- Some PM journeys are retimed to improve reliability, from 15:25 all departures will now depart at 30 minutes later until 18:55. This is only Monday to Friday, Saturday times remain unchanged.
The Ely Zipper 2
- 06:25 ZIP2 is a new journey from Ely to Lancaster Way only to offer a replacement to the 05:55 ZIP3.
- Most journeys will now serve Ely Tesco’s to offer connections with Ely Railway Station and are retimed to improve punctuality, this includes leaving March Broad Street 2 minutes earlier.
- Some PM journeys from Ely will depart 5 minutes earlier to help improve punctuality.
The Ely Zipper 3
- 05:55 ZIP3 journey from Ely will now start at 06:19 from Sutton, Brookside.
Passengers for Lancaster Way Business Park are advised to use the new ZIP2 at 06:25 from Ely. - 15:40 ZIP3 from Ely Lesure Village & 17:27 from Chatteris will serve Ely Tesco’s (for Ely Railway Station).
- We are adding some additional short journeys between Ely & Sutton following an increase in customer demand.
These will be at 17:50 Monday to Friday from Ely Market Street, 08:47 from Sutton Brookside (Saturdays only). & 18:15 from Ely Leisure Village (Saturdays only).

We have joined the £2 fare cap!
We are excited to announce that Dews have joined the £2 fare cap.
This offer has been extended by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority who will be keeping the fare cap at £2 as the UK Government announced it would be increased to £3 from 1 January 2025.
