More Buses from 14 October

Changes from Monday 14 October 2024
Starting on 14 October 2024, we'll be running more buses across our network - thanks to funding made available by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
Details of the the changes can be found below:
Service 302
Service 302 timetable from 14 October 2024 Click Here
- A revised timetable is to be implemented, this includes a brand new 0655 from St Ives to March.
- Clock face 2 hourly service will operate from 0910 ex March and 0955 ex St Ives.
- 1815 is a brand-new commuter service which connects with The Ely Zipper 2 at Chatteris offering through connections to March.
- 0620 Chatteris to St Ives and 1915 St Ives to Chatteris will operate as normal.
- A brand new 2 hourly Saturday Service is being implemented too.
Service 303/305

- A clock face hourly timetable is being implemented from 1000 to 1800 from Ramsey to Huntingdon and 0810 to 1810 from Huntingdon back to Ramsey.
- All 305 numbered services to Chatteris will be renumbered 303 offering connections throughout the day with The Ely Zipper 3.
This is something brand new and you will not be required to change buses and will open connections up from places like Huntingdon & Ramsey to Ely. - The current 0650 service from Chatteris to Huntingdon will depart 15 minutes earlier throughout arriving in Huntingdon at 0755.
- The current 1845 service from Huntingdon will depart 35 minutes earlier at 1810 towards Chatteris via Ramsey based on passenger feedback that waiting until 1845 was unnecessary.
But will continue to review this as the new timetables comes in. - On Saturday’s service 303 will operate every 2 hours offering the same connections like the Monday to Friday timetable offering through connections to Ely.
The Ely Zipper 1

- A revised timetable is being implemented including a new hourly service Monday to Friday, all journeys will depart at 25 past each hour from Ely and operate 5 minutes earlier throughout.
- Saturdays remain the same but will depart at 25 past each hour.
The Ely Zipper 2 & 3 (Monday to Friday)

- 0600 service from Chatteris to Ely will now depart at 0525 from Aldi and 0530 from East Park Street and operate 30 minutes earlier throughout to allow better offerings to commuters arriving in Ely Market Street at 0615 and Ely Leisure Village at 0625.
- The Ely Zipper 2 will be extended to March offering a 2 hourly service from March, Wimblington, Doddington to Chatteris & Ely. Combined with service 302 there will be a combined hourly service from March to Chatteris.
- The Ely Zipper 3 is a brand-new service to complement The Ely Zipper 2.
This will offer a combined hourly service with the Ely Zipper 2 between Ely and Chatteris calling at Lancaster Way Business, Witchford, Witcham Toll, Sutton, Mepal & Wenny Road. - The Ely Zipper 3 service will offer through connections on most trips throughout the day with the Service 303 to offer connections from Ely to Ramsey and Huntingdon.
This is something brand new and you will not be required to change buses. - The Ely Zipper 3 will also offer a brand new 0555 from Ely to Chatteris then Huntingdon (303 service).
This service will offer connections at Chatteris with The Ely Zipper 2 to March. - There is some additional peak time services to & from Ely Leisure Village added too which will be acting a trail Monday to Friday only.
The Ely Zipper 2 & 3 (Saturdays)
- The Ely Zipper 3 replaces The Ely Zipper 2 on all trips. Most daytime trips will extend to the Leisure Village throughout the day.
This will operate every 2 hours offering 5 trips to & from the Leisure Village. - All Ely Zipper 3 trips towards Chatteris will connect with the 303 service offering through connections to Ramsey & Huntingdon.
