NEW “SOCIAL SATURDAYS” ELY LEISURE VILLAGE ADDED TO THE ELY ZIPPER 2 SERVICE!

We bring you the exciting news of a slight service change to the Ely Zipper 2! 

 

The Ely Zipper 2 is a popular bus service that runs Monday to Saturday, connecting Chatteris, Mepal, Sutton & Witchford to the beautiful city of Ely. 

 

Through on-going discussions with our passengers and the local community and research, we have set about improving the service further by adding in an extra stop at Ely Leisure village. (Currently on Saturday’s ONLY)

 

Changes will come into effect from Monday the 3rd of June 2024.

 

The Monday to Friday timetable will remain unchanged except from the 0730 journey from Chatteris which will have an additional 10 minutes running time added in from Mepal onwards to Ely to help improve punctuality.

On Saturdays we will be operating a new timetable which extends to Ely Leisure Village. This means a slightly revised frequency throughout the day, this is to allow day time journeys to extend from Ely City to the Leisure Village allowing access to the Cinema and Food Outlets.

 

The hope is that this will provide the opportunity for you to utilise the local amenities and overall, have a more enjoyable and social Saturday!
